Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information, in compliance with Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA.
Last updated: July 2026
This page summarizes Dynacom Technologies' commitments to personal information protection. For the full legal text, contact privacy@dynacom.com.
1. Our commitment
Dynacom Technologies Inc. is committed to protecting customer personal and business information in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA.
2. Data we collect
This is a showcase website. We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our forms, along with traffic statistics if you consent to them. No account is created and no payment is processed on this site.
- Contact form: name, email, company, client number, phone, and the content of your message.
- Quote form (Hosted Private Cloud): name, company, email, phone, the configuration you choose, and your notes.
- Traffic statistics: only if you accept audience-measurement cookies (see the “Cookies” section).
- Your cookie choice: stored locally in your browser for 12 months.
In short: we collect only what you send us through our forms, plus anonymized traffic statistics if you consent.
3. How we use your data
- Respond to your request and follow up with you.
- Improve our site using anonymized traffic statistics, only with your consent.
- Send you news or offers, only if you have consented (you can unsubscribe at any time).
We do not sell any personal information and do not use it for any purpose other than those described above.
In short: your information is used to answer your request, to improve the site with your consent, and — only with your consent — to send you news; we never sell it.
4. Hosting and security
All SaaS data is hosted in Canada, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Backups are performed multiple times per day.
In short: your SaaS data stays in Canada, is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is backed up several times a day.
5. Disclosure outside Quebec
Some of our providers are located outside Quebec. As a result, personal information may be disclosed outside Quebec:
- SendGrid (Twilio Inc., United States): delivers the emails generated by our forms. Your information therefore passes through the United States when a request is routed to us.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC, United States): measures site traffic, only if you have accepted audience-measurement cookies.
Before disclosing information outside Quebec, we conduct a privacy impact assessment to ensure the information will receive adequate protection. We also rely on contractual commitments with these providers to frame that protection.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in law, you may exercise the following rights over your personal information:
- Access: obtain a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Rectification: have inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information corrected.
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw at any time a consent you previously gave, including to communications or cookies.
- De-indexing and cessation of dissemination: request that the dissemination of information cease, or that a hyperlink giving access to it be de-indexed, where the law allows.
- Portability: receive, in a structured, commonly used technological format, the computerized information you provided to us (a right in force since September 22, 2024).
To exercise these rights, write to the privacy officer (see the last section). We respond within 30 days of receiving your request.
7. Automated decision-making
Dynacom does not make any decision based exclusively on automated processing of your personal information.
9. Sub-processors and hosting
We use a limited number of carefully selected sub-processors: cloud hosting (Canada), payment gateways (Moneris, Global Payments), and transactional email delivery. Requests submitted through our forms (contact, cloud quote) pass through a secure function hosted on Google Cloud (Montréal region) and are delivered to our team by SendGrid; they are used solely to respond to your request. The full, current list is available on request at privacy@dynacom.com.
10. Data retention
We keep the information submitted through our forms for at most 24 months after the last exchange related to your request, then we destroy or anonymize it — unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
In short: information submitted through our forms is kept for at most 24 months after the last exchange, then destroyed or anonymized, unless otherwise required by law.
11. Breach notification
In the event of a confidentiality incident, we take reasonable measures to reduce its consequences and prevent it from recurring. We maintain a register of confidentiality incidents. Where an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec and the individuals concerned, in compliance with Law 25 and PIPEDA.
12. Complaint
If you have a concern about how your personal information is handled, first contact our privacy officer (see the last section). If you are not satisfied with the response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. Outside Quebec, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
13. Updates to this policy
We update this policy as needed. Material changes are posted to this page at least 30 days before they take effect.
